Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B

In this Gospel passage, we encounter Bartimaeus, a blind man sitting by the roadside, calling out to Jesus as he passes by. Despite being told by others to be quiet, Bartimaeus shouts even louder, determined to get Jesus’ attention. His faith and persistence are clear; he believes Jesus can heal him, even when the world around him tells him to give up.
