Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B
In today’s Gospel, Jesus continues to journey with his disciples, teaching them about what is to come. He tells them plainly that “The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of men; they will put him to death; and three days after he has been put to death he will rise again.” But the disciples don’t understand. Instead of asking Jesus what he means, they begin to argue among themselves about who is the greatest amongst them.
