MAY PROGRAM: On the Road to Oblate Week!
This week we begin the May Program. The May Program has been written in four separate sections, with each "Week" being an individual topic, based around Rule from 1818 - "We must lead people to act like human beings, first of all, and then like Christians, and, finally, we must help them to become saints."
Unlike the usual Scripture & Tradition Resources, this program does not use the Gospel readings for the upcoming Sunday. Instead, it uses reflections which we hope will help break open St Eugene's Rule from 1818, and his charism.
You also don't have to use the program in its entirety. You can use as much or as little of it as you like. This will run alongside the De Mazenod Family May Program - which is the same program being run on Thursday evenings in May for members of the De Mazenod Family.
If you require any additional assistance on how to use the program for your community, have any questions or need any extra resources - eg PowerPoint, extra readings, etc, please reach out to Emma Rice at erice@omi.com.au.

Week One: Humans, Christians, Saints!
This week is an introduction into the theme of The May Program - Humans, Christians, Saints. This theme is taken from St Eugene's Rule from 1818 "We must lead men to act like human beings, first of all, and then like Christians, and, finally, we must help them to become saints."
