Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year C
In today’s Gospel reading we see Jesus show the compassion of God to the woman accused of adultery. He mystifies the crowd by firstly writing in the sand and then calling those who are without sin to cast the first stone. When all are gone, Jesus forgives the woman and tells her to sin no more.
