The final step in Eugene’s model for mission is to help people on their road to holiness. To aspire to be a saint seems an impossible task, especially if God is viewed as a harsh judge. God doesn’t wait to come to us when we are perfect, God comes to us amid our sinful nature and calls us to holiness.
